On Friday, U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick dismissed Berg’s complaint. According to the Philiadelphia Daily News, the judge wrote in a 34-page memorandum and opinion that Berg’s attempt to gain standing to challenge Obama’s candidacy was "frivolous and not worthy of discussion." He called Berg’s claims of harm "ridiculous" and "patently false."

No one should be surprised by this. Philip Berg is the same lawyer who sued the Bush administration for plotting the 9/11 attacks. He also wrote a letter to world leaders, calling on them to arrest Bush and Cheney for their role in the events of 9/11.

In 2005, Berg was accused of malpractice by former clients. A judge found that he had committed a "laundry list of unethical actions" and imposed more than $10,000 in sanctions. He also ordered Berg to complete six hours of ethics training.

"Other attorneys should look to Mr. Berg’s actions as a blueprint for what not to do when attempting to effectively and honorably perform the duties of the legal profession," U.S. District Judge J. Curtis Joyner wrote in that 2005 case. "This court has grown weary of Mr. Berg’s continuous and brazen disrespect toward this court and his own clients. Mr. Berg’s actions ... are an enormous waste of judicial time and resources that this court cannot, in good conscience, allow to go unpunished."

Berg, it seems, has learned little about ethics, only that angry and fearful people are gullible people and he can take advantage of them. One wonders how much money he rakes in with the frivolous lawsuits he pretends to pursue on behalf of the public. Incredibly he has been accepting donations via PayPal for his bogus lawsuit against Obama at his website, Obamacrimes.com. More incredibly, people give, despite the fact that Berg is not sharing how much money he needs or how much he has raised.
