Not in any of the six companies.” A man present at the battle identified as “Pierre” had this to say regarding Le Pen : “Le Pen at Saint-Marcel ? Certainly not. He had what ? Fifteen, sixteen years ? I would have been the first to collect a kid of this age if I had found him. No, I never heard talk of him, not during the combat or in the rest of the country. No one mentioned his name during the resistance.”

Félix Guilas était un chef de la Résistance qui a participé à la bataille (celle à laquelle Le Pen prétend avoir participé). Quand on lui a demandé s’il avait connu un quelconque Le pen sous ses ordres, il a répondu que non, et qu’il jugeait sur les actes pas les parole. « J’ai contrôlé de nombreux bataillons, personne au nom de Le Pen dans aucune des compagnies. Un homme nommé Pierre présent à la bataille (de Saint marcel) a dit que Le Pen érait à St Marcel ? Sûrement pas. Il avait quoi ? 15 ans ? (Le Pen est né en 1928) J’aurais été le premier à accueillir un garçon de cet âge, si je l’avais trouvé. Non, je n’ai jamais entendu parler de lui, ni dans ces combats, ni ailleurs dans le pays.
