The second reason came from looking at what may motivate a man to wield an elaborate lie and deceive so many well-intentioned people. I took a look at his two websites and found the prices for his services/merchandise.

Four different books : $25.00 each
Five separate CDs : $10.00–$25.00 each
Set of three books and three CDs : $155.00
One week with Greer and team first time encounter including kit : $2,500.00
One week with Greer and team second time encounter without kit : $1,000.00

One can argue that those are very legal ways of raising funds for his projects. He cannot give away the books for free since he is not a millionaire. But it seems paradoxical that the ’pioneers of future truth’, serving to wake up humanity’s sleeping mind and idle state of existence, would ask such a high price.

To be fair, though AnnG may be related, she is not Mrs. Greer (unless using a pseudonym). Greer’s wife isEmily K. Greer.

Mr. Greer occasionally uses his wife in financial and real estate transactions. An example is when Greer claims that, « I’m a medical doctor, and I cannot afford to turn my house into a solar or wind property. » (See Youtube clip)

That wasn’t what caught my attention. What did catch my attention was a younger (but strangely older looking) Greer taking small groups of people out into the Californian desert with the following voice over :

“No telescopes.
No Computers.
The tool is telepathy.
The goal ? A very close encounter.”

This was at least three years before he ran into copyright infringement claims from the UFO Research Coalition regarding the claim that he, “Improperly duplicated and distributed a copyrighted document referred to as : The Best Available Evidence”. There was a multitude of charges related to this, more of which can be read here.

Or the claims that in Greer’s book, ‘Extraterrestrial Contact’ Greer claimed to have been directly briefed about UFOs by R. James Woolsey, the former director of the CIA, at a dinner party. Shortly after Greer published his book with his apparently exaggerated account of what had taken place, Woolsey and others present at the dinner sent Greer a letter trying to set the record straight.
