I’ll not be happy because the energy and time I used (and the japanese girl too) to learn english is very heavy comparing to what i would use to learn esperanto. So esperanto makes me earn time. Moreover, the level of language I would have could hardly be very good (Most of the French speak very few or nothing of English, as it is SO complicated).

If I and the japanese girl, speaking English, meet some native English speaking people, I would have an indeniable inferiority that will increase the chances for the girl to leave me for one of these guys. Because they can speak faster, they can be funnier and more at ease, simply as they speak English better.

So my mind is open, the only thing is that I think.
