Well, I can imagine that Tsipras was simply clinging to dear life ... they probably sat him down in a small room, showing him every member of his family on a screen while describing how they would dispose of each one of them if he did not pulled down his pants and opened his as...s wide.


One can only wonder about the world we live in when a PM is more fearful of behind-the-curtain psychopathic morons than his own people, which number by the millions ... 

PS : Of course, far-right leaders are mixing a certain xenophobia with nationalism. But being a nationalist is certainly not an exclusive feature of the far-right wing of the political spectrum. In any case, being seduced by highly vocal politicians without a minimum of critical thinking is a dumb thing. Unfortunately, people tend to react rather than think calmly. Emotions are the fuel of actions, and when such event as the Brexit occurs, you can bet that some folks will exploit the released passions in the short term.
