Il a été condamné à une peine lourde parce que c’est un délinquant récidiviste, et que dans la plupart des états US, au bout de 3 condamnations l’addition devient plus lourde. Il n’a donc pas été simplement condamné pour ce fait divers. C’est la règle de la loi des 3 coups (Three strikes law).

Ça n’a donc rien à voir avec une répression qui s’abattrait particulièrement sur les anti-LGBT.
